The Red Fort or Lal Qila which was built by Shah Jahan situated at Delhi, banks of Yamuna river. Red Fort is the top holiday destinations in India and most visited place of foreign tourists. The Red Fort was the main residence of Mughal dynasty emperor for nearly two century. It is also on the list of one of the biggest forts in India. It was constructed by Mughal King Shah Jahan in 1638 to 1648. The Red fort contains all the material of the Mughal government. It was having halls for the public and private audiences like Diwan-i-am and Diwan-i-khas. It was also had a Plus apartment named Moti Masjid.

Nowadays every year on 15th August the Prime Minister of India hoists the national flag at the Red Fort to celebrate India’s Independence Day. The Red Fort, the largest and most visited monument in Delhi and it is the most popular tourist places which attract a lot of visitors every year.
